PQE 1 to 3 years but flexible for the right individuals
Davidson Chalmers Stewart is a leading independent commercial law firm operating from offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The firm's underlying business rationale is to provide clients with excellent quality service which combines first rate technical legal skills with practical commercial advice.
We have built one of the strongest corporate teams in the market, focused on the needs of business clients of all sizes across Scotland and beyond. Our team of legal experts is recognised for delivering proactive, commercially focused advice with in-depth experience across a full spectrum of businesses from start-ups to listed companies.
Due to our continued growth we are seeking two ambitious, highly motivated corporate solicitors to join our team. The successful candidates are expected to have had experience of a wide range of corporate and commercial work including shareholder agreements and articles; private company purchase/sale/equity investment due diligence; private company share/business acquisition/sale transactions and private equity investment (investor or investee). Experience in group/share capital structuring is also desirable. They will also be commercially aware, self-motivated and strong team players.
The roles can be either Edinburgh or Glasgow based but the successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain experience working with partners in our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. In normal circumstances all members of the team work in an open plan environment and the pace is fast and fun with excellent opportunities for learning and career progression. Client contact and business development are actively encouraged.
A competitive salary and range of benefits are offered.
