Solicitor/Senior Solicitor – Commercial Litigation (Edinburgh)

PQE 2 to 6 years

Davidson Chalmers Stewart is a leading independent commercial law firm operating from offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow.  The firm's underlying business rationale is to provide clients with excellent quality service which combines first rate technical legal skills with practical commercial advice. 

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious, highly motivated litigator to join our established commercial litigation team.  The successful candidate is expected to have a proven record of running their own cases in the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session from start to conclusion.  They will be able to work with a variety of clients to identify objectives and to work independently and manage their own caseload, they will also be commercially aware, self-motivated and strong team players. 

The role is Edinburgh based but the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience working with partners in our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.  Our dynamic team members work in an open plan environment and the pace is fast and fun with excellent opportunities for learning and career progression.  Client contact and business development are actively encouraged.

A competitive salary and range of benefits are offered.  Normal working hours will be 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday.
