Having previously worked in-house for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), Chala has wide ranging experience spanning all environmental matters with particular expertise in the waste and resources sector, issues relating to water and dealing with compliance and enforcement.

Working with SEPA has afforded Chala valuable insight into what is required and expected when dealing with matters of legal analysis, interpretation and ensuring compliance for commercial clients. As part of the environmental team at Davidson Chalmers Stewart, she is now putting her technical and legal knowledge and experience to use in finding commercially viable solutions for private and public sector clients alike. Chala has developed good connections across a number of sectors having worked with many technical experts in the environmental arena over the last 6 years.

Out of the office Chala enjoys cooking for friends, spending time with her family and being outdoors as much as possible.
