I am a Solicitor and Notary Public in the Commercial Litigation team at Davidson Chalmers Stewart and represent clients in a broad range of commercial disputes.
My expertise includes disputes over damage to property, missives, dilapidations and commercial leases. I also have experience handling housing and property matters, shareholder disputes, advising clients on complex conflicts arising within companies and regularly appear in the Sheriff Court on behalf of clients. More recently, I have become increasingly involved in defending criminal matters at solemn level, including cases involving firearm charges.
I began my legal career at a specialist litigation firm, gaining a diverse range of experience across family law, personal injury (acting for both Pursuers and Defenders), property damage, commercial debt recovery and quasi-criminal matters, such as Non-Harassment Orders, Sexual Offence Prevention Orders, and Proceeds of Crime.
Before joining Davidson Chalmers Stewart, I principally defended insurance claims on behalf of major UK insurance companies. I also have experience in dental practice sale disputes and dental associate disputes. My unique combination of legal expertise and clinical insight stems from my qualification with the General Dental Council in 2012 and my prior work as a clinician and manager in the private dental sector. This background makes me particularly well-suited to advising corporate dental clients on legal matters, offering a practical understanding of their industry alongside strategic legal advice.
Beyond my professional work, I am an active supporter of the arts, holding memberships with the National Galleries of Scotland and the Tate Collective. I am also deeply committed to promoting access to justice, having volunteered extensively with university law clinics during my studies.
