I have acted in a full range of commercial disputes, from initial client discussions to conducting litigations and receiving and enforcing judgements. Day to day I mainly deal with property, contract and insolvency disputes – having gained a significant amount of experience in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts. I have acted for various types of clients, including landowners, landlords and tenants, insolvency practitioners and have gained a commercial insight from my contentious, insolvency, property and commercial litigation.
I like to quickly identify what my clients’ objectives are and focus on achieving them whilst being mindful of the commercial realities of any situation.
I am a member of the Property Litigation Association.
Outside of the office I am a keen runner, having completed the Edinburgh and London marathons. I also like to cook, go to the football and play golf (in fair weather).
