I am originally from Northern Ireland. I trained as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen in Belfast before moving to Los Angeles to work for Price Waterhouse.
On return to Edinburgh I worked for Ethicon Limited for 14 years across a number of finance roles before the closure of the plant. Other Finance controller roles followed with Iron Mountain, Miller & Bryce and RBS.
Outside of work I enjoy walking, music and dancing.
