I am a Director in the Commercial Property Department working in the residential development team, acquiring and disposing of land.

I am involved with sites from start to finish, advising on the terms of the purchase contract and checking the title deeds, right through to selling the completed houses or flats.  Often there is an element of site assembly involved and a detailed knowledge of the planning system is useful, as clients often take long term options over land, where promotion of a particular site through the development plan cycle is required.

I negotiate Planning Agreements with local councils in connection with clients’ planning applications and, as well as acting for developer clients, I often act for landowners and funders.
